"SHOW-BIZ HISTORY"

Adam Jacobo has ventured through various productions on stage, film, television as an actor, host, writer, house manager, floor manager, director, producer, etc. over the past nine years.

1998 - Adam acts in his first play at Rio Hondo College and goes on to receive two ‘Male Actor of the Year’ awards (‘99 & ’01), while achieving, three time ‘Regional Finalist’ in the Audition Competing during the American College Theatre Festival (’99, ’00, ’02).

1999 - House Manager at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, Adam, worked with a number of theatre companies such as the Latino Theatre Company, Culture Clash, Playwrights' Arena, Will & Company, and many, many more during a five year span.

2000 - Co-founded of his first production company with two friends, ‘CloudCraft Entertainment’, making five short films & three episodes of the cable show ‘Storytyme’.

2002 - Co-founding member & Host of the improv comedy troop, ‘Funny Bones’. He performs for variety of audiences in L.A. every Thursday night for two strait years, also performing in Hollywood, Mexico, Canada and Scotland.

2003 - Co-founder & Host of Spanish sketch comedy troop, ‘Los Cuchy Cuus’, performing a variety show along with Mexican comedy greats, ‘Guarachin Guarachon’ in four venues throughout L.A. cities.

2002 - As, Theatre Specialist, for L.A. Unified School District’s, ‘Y.S. Care Program’, Adam, directed over 30 children’s plays, organizing up to 60 kids aged 6–13 yrs every 3 weeks in over 30 different elementary schools for 3 years through out LA. (Phew!)  

2004 - Part time acting teacher for ‘Latino Talent House’, in Garden Grove, for 1 ½ yrs. Currently, teaching at ‘Patricia Sturla Studio’, in Anaheim & L.A. for two years.

2004 - Co-producer/Writer/Supporting Actor in, ‘Richard Villa Live’, a DVD based on the stand-up comedy of MTV’s, ‘Chico and Guapo’, star and LA Improv host Richard Villa. 

2005 - Featured Character/Writer on the *2007 NAMIC Vision Award Nominated Comedy Show, ‘Unacceptable Behavior’. The first ever English sketch comedy TV show with an all Latino cast! 

2006 - Producer/Director of ‘Chencho y su Gran Dote’, a Spanish comedy feature written by Mexican comedy icon, ‘Peluche Gonzales’ - available on DVD

2007 - Producer of feature film, NORTH (Frontera Norte), begins production 05/07
