Native Angelino, Adam Jacobo is a product of the Los Angeles Unified School District from Kinder Garden 1984 to Bell High School Graduate 1996. A first generation Mexican American his parents hail from Jalisco & Zacatecas, Mexico providing hard work ethic, humble yet strong family virtues and... LOTS OF LAUGHS!!

In a nut shell, this is Adam's journey as an Actor on film-television-stage, Comedian, Host, Writer, Director, Producer and overall entertainment industry:

1997 / 1998 - Takes his first acting class, ten months later he acts in his first play, 'Twelfth Night' as Aguecheek and named 'Acting Rookie of the Year' by the Rio Hondo College Theater Department.

1999 / 2002 - Performs in over 20 theatre productions, scenes, events, festivals, competitions in and out of school campuses throughout southern Cal. Was Awarded, Rio Hondo College ‘Male Actor of the Year’ in 1999 & 2001. Achieves ‘Regional Finalist’ in the A.C.T.F. (American College Theatre Festival) Region 8 - Audition Competition for three consecutive years 1999, 2000 & 2002. Receives two ACTF Irene Ryan Nominations 2001 & 2002 and is honored as an Irene Ryan Regional Semi-Finalist in the 2002 Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Auditions in 2002.

2002 - Receives A.S. Degree in Theatre Arts - Rio Hondo College.

1999 / 2006 & 2008 / Present - Works Part-time as House Manager under Melody Archer Moore at the Los Angeles Theatre Center (a.k.a. LATC) working with companies such as the Latino Theatre Company, Culture Clash, Robey Theatre Company, Playwrights Arena, Bilingual Foundation of the Arts, UCLA Theatre & Dance Departments, Americas Theatre Arts Foundation, John Guinevere Smith, LA Ovation Awards, LA Weekly Awards and many, many more.

2001 / 2004 - Founding member of, 'Cloud Craft Entertainment' acting, writing, directing and producing various short films including a three episode series ‘Storytyme’, this aired on local Adelphia Cable in Whittier, CA - 2002.

2002 / 2005 - Founding member & Host of ‘Funny Bones’ improv comedy troop. Performing up to two times a week, regularly every Thursday at Radisson Hotel in Whittier CA, the troop went on to reach stages in Hollywood, Los Angeles and Edinbrough, Scotland.

2003 / 2005 - Founding Member & Host of Spanish sketch comedy troop, ‘Los Cuchy Cuus’. Performing in a variety of cities in Southern and Central California and Baja California, Mexico the troop was invited to open for Mexican comedy greats, ‘Guarachin Guarachon’ on a four month run throughout LA County in 2004.

2003 / 2005 - Theatre Specialist for L.A. Unified School District’s ‘Y.S. Care Program’, creating, developing & directing over 25 children’s play productions, organizing up to 60 new children every 3 weeks in over 20 elementary schools throughout the county.

2004 / 2009 - Part-time Acting Instructor and Talent Show Developer for the ‘Latino Talent House’, ‘Patricia Sturla Studios’, 'William Grant Steele Center, 'Ragazzi Artistic Lounge' and most recently for 'Bellas Artes' in Anaheim CA. Students range from 4 - 12 year olds to teens and adults in both English and Spanish.

2004 - Co-producer / Writer / Supporting Actor for, ‘Richard Villa Live’ (Vanguard Cinema), a DVD based on the stand-up comedy of MTV's 'Chico and Guapo' and host at the famous 'LA Improv' Richard Villa.

2006 - Featured Character on the *2007 NAMIC Vision Award Nominated Comedy Show, ‘Unacceptable Behavior’ on Si TV. The first ever English sketch comedy TV show with an All Latino Cast!

2006 - Producer / Director of the feature film 'Chencho y su Gran Dote'. A Spanish comedy written by Mexican comedy icon, ‘Peluche Gonzales’. Available on DVD by Vanguard Cinema. - Click CHENCHO link below to watch movie intro.

2007 - Produced a film trailer for concept film titled, 'NORTH - (Frontera Norte)' - Click NORTH link below to watch trailer.

2008 - Gets his first lead role the feature film 'Pepe and Santo vs. America' as Pepe. Acting alongside Telenovela Stars, Karyme Lozano and Rafael Amaya. Debuted at the San Diego Film Festival '2009' and since has appeared at the HBO New York Latino International Film Festival and at El Primer Festival Internacional de Cine de la Ciudad de Chihuahua, MX. - Watch the trailer on Video Page.
